The Long Winters newsdesk is slowly working its way through all the news that is flooding the desks. So please forgive us for combining two very different shows in one go.
First up, John Roderick will once again join Wesley Stace, aka John Wesley Harding, for his Cabinet of Wonders, a vaudeville night of music and literature. John will appear at six of the shows in October and November, which will take him to Chicago, Minneapolis, Iowa City, Grinnell IA (!), San Francisco and Santa Barbara. After this we will have no more complaining that John never performs in Iowa – agreed?

Then, in January John will join Colin Meloy on four West Coast shows of his solo tour. Slightly disappointingly, the tour doesn’t seem to have a name, like Decemberists tours always do, but suggestions are welcome. Tickets are on sale already, so don’t wait too long.
