Record label Barsuk Records celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, and The Long Winters will join the festivities with a special show on November 8th, playing When I Pretend To Fall in its entirety. To add to the festivities, this will be a full band show – there haven’t been any for several years now, so this is indeed a show not to be missed.
When I Pretend To Fall has an anniversary of its own: it was 10 years ago that Barsuk released the album.
This night is part of a four-night anniversary celebration on November 7-10 with Barsuk artists past and present for four once-in-a-lifetime shows in favorite Seattle venues. The show will also feature special guests from the Barsuk roster, including a very rare performance by Chris Walla, the Seattle debut of new Barsuk signing Minor Alps, and David Bazan.
This show and all three others will benefit Gilda’s Club Seattle, a cancer support organization in the Seattle area.
